Baltic Pine
Hello one and all.
Have had someone asking me for 290x19 DAR Baltic Pine in 290x290 squares. They are used for(yes, I promise this is true) management seminars to get people to karate chop in half.
I understand this is a difficult species to get (red or white) and especially in 290x19. They have tried Radiata pine but it does not break as easy.
Therefore I have 2 questions:
1/ Where would one buy this soze in Baltic in the Sydney area?
2/ What other (readily available and cheap) alternative would anyone suggest?
Thanx

Cedar as an option, the 1/4" variety. Not expensive when you consider what the charge for a seminar is.
If the MD is a real #!*^ you could use a piece of 2" redgum.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.
