    Exclamation Baltic Pine Weatherboards

    Hi All,

New to the forum, but am chasing some information if anyone can help.
I need a MSDS or information similar, to show that these particular W'boards can be used in external applications. I have had a client purchase these from me, to which the end user was to paint pre installation, but that was neglected . Now that my client has completed the job the ebd user has come back to him with rotten boards etc blaming him for bad installation etc and the fact that this particular timber should never have been used externally in the first place.
Any assistance or hard copy information would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards

My understanding is that Baltic is Class 4, and priming back and front, and (as far as I'm concerned, priming cut ends) is essential. If the end user hasn't done that, and was told to, he's *****ed up. If he wasn't told, whoever didn't tell him has *****ed up.
I don't think my testimony would count in a court of law, though, so maybe google can help.
