    Default Bamboo planks supplier enquiry

    Hi I am looking to find bamboo 'planks' which I can biscuit join to make a table top so looking at approx. 18-25 mm thickness. Can anyone recommend a good supplier in NSW?

    Any particular reason you are limited to bamboo?

    Bunnings sell finger jointed boards with various species, but not bamboo; as far as I know.

    I'm using some European Beech FJ boards that are made in Turkey at the moment. The material is of far better quality than I had expected.

    Many thanks for responding Mark. The plan is to use bamboo due to its properties - strong but light as we are looking to use it as part of a product that we are looking to make and then sell so will have shipping costs associated. I have a great bamboo camping table by zempire that made me think of bamboo but I will look in to the beech. Where do you purchase your beech from? Many thanks Sam
