Wandoo (Whitegum)
Hey guys.
I was given a Wandoo log today and have strapped it and made it into a stand for my anvil. Anyway, even though the log stuffed the chain on me saw I'd like to get some planks to see what else I can break.
The Forest Products Commission lists the timber as a renewable / plantation sourced wood. But I'll be buggered if I know where to get some.
Is someone able to point me in the right direction? Somewhere south of Perth would be appreciated.
Cheers

Cool
If you wouldnt mind, PM me with a price on some 125mm x125mm and some 45mm x 100mm plus delivery. Minimum length of 1200mm, or multiples is good.
I'd like to compare the prices to Karri and Jarrah so if you could give me a price on these as well.
I'll need delivery to Rockingham or Waroona depending on when you can get it for me.
Thanks DSTC.

Blacks Auctions at Bunbury, I think, have wandoo for sale from time to time. They are on the net at -

Worth a look and a phone call.
It only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth.

Cubic metre lots are $1400m3 green off the saw and we have some logs ready to cut.
Freight is around $80-120 depending on a number of factors.
Jarrah green off the saw for Prime grade is $1500m3 and is subject to what sizes you require.
email me at [email protected] for more details if you need it

Blacks have a nice auction on on Sat 9th April in Bunbury.
Lacy Sheoak, Camphor, Cape Lilac? Jarrah, Marri. This one seems to be aimed at the craftsman/hobbyist. That is small size packs rather tah nsold by the truckload. Might have to convince SWMBO.
