Bending of timber
i am a year 12 student and i am in desperate need of help.
i have been given an assignment on bending of timber, and i need to know a few things
1) How do u find the 'bent' part in a piece of furniture
2) What are the different bending processes and;
3) The devlopment of 'bending technique' and how it was dependent on the technologies and tools of its devlopment.
your help would be great!!

There is a search facility on the task bar above.
I did a quick Google search for "timber bending techniques" and got a lot of info back. Here are some;

The last one focuses on Japanese techniques. Have a search of the Scandinavian methods as well.
