Bent / Twisted radiata pine
I had to store some 45x90 Radiata pine outside for 3 weeks, the pieces are either 2400 or 4800 long, I made nice stacks resting flat on some pieces of timber about 50mm from the ground spaced at about 1m and I put some small separators 10mm thick every 4 rows, then I covered it with some plastic.
Now the problem is that some of the timber has warped or bent, some are intact but some are seriously bent like doing an arch of 150mm in the center.
I suspect a bit of water must have come in or perhaps only covering from the top was not a good idea and I noticed a bit of moisture (not water, just moisture) between the pieces of timber when I started to use them, anyway I was wondering if there is a way to salvage that bent/twisted timber, should I expose it to the sun on some flat concrete with some weight on it ? Should I wet the concave or convex side ? Will it eventually straighten a bit when completely exposed to the air ?
Any ideas appreciated
Thanks
Jack

Get it inside somewhere dry and seperate it properly so there is air circulation arround every piece.
And hope for the best.
It may not have been dry when you got it.
If you can se moisture its too wet.
