Bird House
My 7 year old Granddaughter would like a Bird House put up in the Back yard.
Can I use 12m MDF Melamine to wiothstand the weather??

In a word, no. MDF swells something terrible when it gets wet.
Basically you need solid timber or an exterior grade plywood.
One option in solid timber is 12mm pine lioning boards or else treated pine or hardwood fence palings.
I make nestboxes out of exterior grade Hoop Pine plywood, 18mm thick.
