Blue spruce
Hi all,
a neighbour is going to cut down a dead Blue Spruce on the weekend. He's giving me first dibs at the timber. The tree died in January during the drought. The needles are all browned off and mostly fallen. It was an attractive tree with lots of radial branches coming irregularly off the trunk so I am expecting lots of interesting grain.
What do I need to know besides safety and end sealing. Has anyone turned this stuff?
