Default Book - CSIRO what timber to use

    http://www.publish.csiro.au/nid/18/pid/5101.htm

    What Timber Will I Use?
The Essential Timber Guide for DIY, Renovators, woodworkers and Students. Author: John Stacpoole
    Paperback - ISBN: 187575024X - AU $28.95

Contents - a bit of a server capacity buster if I cut and paste, but it is worth checking out and as it is a CSIRO listed publication it is not full of bull, and is written for Australia, not the UK or US as is normal.

BTW CSIRO publishing is full of suprisingly handy stuff, usually at a fairly decent price.

BBTW also this http://www.publish.csiro.au/nid/18/pid/5153.htm 500 pages of "Wood in Australia" $89.95
    Cheers,
    Clinton
