Default Bug bombs for timber storage?

    Hi folks,

Spent most of the day today moving my timber stash out of the garage and into a spare room, so that I can expand my workshop.

I now have most of my collection in a reasonably well contained room. Is it worth setting off a bug bomb or two to keep the borers and other nasties down? Any particular insecticide that would be well suited?

    Cheers,

    Danny

I have been tempted to use a bug bomb however I am unsure if the m3 of the room was too small for the bug bomb which may result in residue or the likes. Not to mention breathing it in when dressing the timber in the future.
I have purchased cans of surface spray from Aldi for approx. $3. i'll use a can up spraying the timber every few months. This usually corresponds with going on holidays or away for a weekend so I don't walk in the shed and die from inhalation. I have a large timber rack 4.5X3X.9m and one can does it. Mainly fumigating style however a bulk of the timber is hardwood (brigalow)
