It's good to buy Aussie, but...........
Doing a fixout for a customer, finished hanging the doors today and called in tonight to pick up the arcs and skirts.
67 x 18mm MDF, made locally by Laminex industries - $17 per 5.4metre length, and that is supposedly after my discount.
The same dimension imported - 8.80, just over half price.
I'll be using the local product because (as yet) the imports don't do War Service profile, but you have to wonder how long we can keep making the stuff here.
