camphor laurels
Hi, We are currently cleaning up our property, and this includes cutting down the many camphor trees. Does anyone know who in the area who would be interested in them, as we dont wish to see them wasted. We are in the northern rivers region nsw, and have already cut down approx 60, with lots more to come. Sizes vary in diameter from 25cm to over a metre, any help, info or interest would be greatly appreciated. Lovely straight tall trees. The larger ones are still standing and will have to be cut down by whoever wants them as our chainsaw isnt big enough to tackle them! Cheers

Stan Ceglinski at the Billinudgel Woodworking Co might be interested. You could phone him on 02 66804455 or 0412 429 156.
He is currently at the Brisbane Wood Show, should be back in Billinudgell by midweek.
Regards,
BarrieThis bit should be completely ignored, although I know that despite this warning, you will read it through to the very end.

Hi. I'm possibly a bit late for you. However I operate in Mullum and have a crane truck to carry logs to my mill. E-mail me at [email protected] if you still have camphor to dispose of.
Cheers

Hi All,
I too have some very big camphors that I would like to be rid of. They are still standing, so they would need to be felled. I have had another member of the forum come and have a look, but I would be interested in another opinion, as I don't want to get ripped off. I am 20 minutes from Mullum and 25 min from Lismore. Send me a private message if you would like to come and have a look.
