Caribbean Timbers
Hi Folks,
I was wondering if anyone could speak to some dense woods that I have been curious about but have never seen.
Jamaica - Sloanea jamaicensis - "Break-Axe," Lignum durum, Goupay
Cuba - Guibourtia hymenaefolia - Caguairan
While I'm talking about the Caribbean, does anyone know where to find a stash of Krugiodendron ferreum? Incidentally, the immediate sister/brother to Sloanea jamaicensis is Sloanea nitida in Brazil.
