Large Carving Timber
Been a while since I've been on, but really need some timber at a reasonably good price for some new art pieces I need to get done for uni and other exhibitions.
My problem is they need to be large stumps or branches or logs, that r between and 30 & 60cm in dia/round and at least that in lenghth. soft wood pines, camphor laurel (that's a fav) or any other soft wood good for carving. If you can help it would be very much appreciated. but I don't have a lot of money and I'm in Oakey area just outside Toowoomba, I don't have a car but can pick up within a reasonable area from here.

huon lump
Hi Chitty, I have a lump of huon that might fit the bill, was part of a large stump, I am in Rockhampton tho, maybe someone travelling down your way might be able to pick it up if u want it, it's not the most perfect bit of stuff as it has a few cracks and its hard to guage the extent of these without opening it up, a few pics...
