Milled these up from a Crow's Ash that had died last year in suburban Woodford, lightning strike being it's demise....it was planted in 1920 in memory of soldier C.H SMITH...and that automatically makes this tree significant.....coming in at around 900mm wide, the Butt-log delivered heaps of beatifull figure....a few shapely and highly figured slabs from the head as well....so i'm thinking if someone out there is willing to build something special out of it ,and then donate it to the National R.S.L,then i will supply it free.....let's not forget this digger, and keep his memory alive through timber.... Look forward to any interest
