G'day folks, Curiosity gets the better of me with different timbers, I know a lot of you have seen or used these before, just wanted to share in my excitement.

    Thumbs up

    Nice!! Good for smaller projects.

Rosewood burls were often used for pipes.

SAM_0232_Converted.jpgSAM_0233_Converted.jpgHere's some more, Hi dabbler the third pic is blood plum cut yesterday slightly yellowed overnight, all the branches were about 150mm dia. in these pics the 2" square piece is a bit of the same blood plum. The pen blank is some coastal ti-tree, and the topright or top is the same apple tree from te first lot of pics i was hoping natural light showed the grain better(must get a better camera) and the pice on the left is another fruit tree,(see if you can identify it)?
