Off cuts
I am in search of ornate or rare timber offcuts from 3"x3"x1.5" or above, hard or soft wood for repairs to knives and swords.

A quick search of this bulletin board will give you names, addresses, and feedback regarding most timber merchants.
I know Trend Timbers (near Windsor) stock a huge variety of woods that I've never heard of or seen before.
The various woodworking magazines also have timber merchant ads - might be worth a visit to your local newsagent.
Cheers,
Andrew
