Cypress Pine
I have done a thread searchas well as searching on Google about using Cypress for furniture making. I was fortunate to come across a mill that sold Cypress (seconds) and I purchased a significant amount. I have just sealed the ends and will give them time to get a MC of around 12%.
I have used Baltic Pine when living in SA and found that easy to work with but finding it difficult to find any information about its capability for furniture making.
Has anyone used Cypress in furniture making or have general knowledge about this species.
Cheers Tony

Thanks everyone for the replies, I am grateful for the help. I will rack it for a white, sealed the ends and give it a bit of time to dry out. From what I read the shrinkage is quite small for this species.
Thanks again
Tony
