Can anyone direct me to where I can purchase dar jarrah in the Gold Coast or Brisbane regions. (The big B hardware chose not to continue stocking it!).
Thanks in anticipation

We post it out.
You can order it on online, quality is assured and now that we have finished moving the store, we are ready to send out orders again! yeah!

Pete,
Here is the website for Lazarides, www.lazaridestimberagencies.com, 15 Hurricane Street, Banyo, Queensland 4104
I have bought quite a lot of timber from them and found them to be always helpful.
Hope this helps
Cheers

lumber bunker, artme and thornburn thanks very much....I was just starting to think I was running up a dry gully.
I live south of the border so I will check out both options to see which works best for me.
Thanks fellas

Timberall at Chinderah, behind the new BP on Highway
There is another timber supplier in Tweed Heads, near Harvey Norman Centre, name eludes me just now.
Stan Ceglinsksi is down your way, don't know if he has DAR though..

Thanks Cruzi
I tried timberall some time ago and greenmount timber supplies ( i think this is the one that alluded you). I am going to send timberall an email to see what it brings.

Be wary not all DAR is square and flat just smooth on all sides. If you absolutley need square and flat then you need to check or specify that specifically to the supplier.
The big B's DAR is well known as B.....gs Bannanas
