Desert Pine?
I got hold of some "desert pine" today. The guy who gave it to me was from Geraldton and used to belong to the Geraldton woodturning club. He told me it was different to white cypress although it looked like cypress to me, having a pattern like

Does anyone know if there is another tree called desert pine in Western Australia's north or is it still cypress but just called desert pine as a local name?Graeme
