    Default guitar woods

    hello i would like to know where i could get some basswood, the type some guitar manufacturers use. i don't want it to build a body so ordering blanks is unnecessary. i live on the central coast NSW

    Default timber for guitars

    Hi dimefan 90

    I don't know where you can get basswood. However I believe Paulownia is a good substitute. I't sound qualities are supposed to be exlcelent.
