The Dramas of Delivering Timber to those off the Beaten Track
Had a job today delivering some timber to a house up in the hills where access was fairly tight and steep. Had to drive up the mountain and then back down a narrow access track with some tight bends which was fine getting in as I was going downhill but getting out was the tricky bit , took me 3 hrs of winching using the crane to get out as there was 3 bends where I lost traction and just sat there wheel spinning.
At one stage had the backend over an embankment after a tree that I had strapped to decided to uproot itself
The pics can tell the rest of the story

Yes they were, in fact he helped me for the whole time that I was there.
They knew beforehand that if there was any problems with getting out, they would be up for any costs involved with getting out if I had to bring someone in but luckily it wasn't needed and he only has to pay for my time.Cheers

DJ,
Thanks for your efforts when you delivered to my place. Saw these photos and thought "What did I worry so much about when you delivered?"

Thats what I call service DJ a another job well done.
I would have been like Calm and put it on the ground at first sign of trouble, but I'm not a truck driver.
