English oak
Im in the process of putting some english oak through the thicknesser. It was rough sawn so I got a nice surprise to see such nice grain underneath. It looks like it moves a LOT when drying though as some of the boards and slabs have warped and checked much more than the other species in the timber yard. Might have to strap the next lot up extra tight.

It is a difficult timber to dry. Sticker well and a cool, shady spot will improve your chances.
