    Default Fallen trees- firewood or useful to someone here?

    Hello all. Happy new year etc.

    I have a number of sections of fallen trees here and would like to know if they would be of use to members. Plum tree in the majority, but some sections of an Indian Bean Tree which is a member of the tobacco family I believe.

    Anything below about 60mm diameter has or will go through the mulcher, but some of the larger sections might be useful to a member.

    I am located in Altona in Vic.

    If there is no interest, the bloke over the road will burn it in his fire.

    You mention smaller than 60mm has been mulched, how big do they get?

    Not sure what plum species you are referring to, but most fruit trees have beautiful timber and worth salvaging for woodturners and box makers, although it cracks easily. The bean tree looks more suited to furniture timber (Catalpa | The Wood Database - Lumber Identification (Hardwoods)).

    I'd love some plum but I am just leaving Melbourne, with an already full load.
