    Hello people this is my first real post and was wondering if anybody in the S.E Qld area has a use for old fence posts.
    The timber ranges from bloodwood,yellow stringy, ironbark, tallowood ect. In the Mt. Mee -woodford area. thanks.

    GW,

    Can you pls provide some additional info such as:
    - rough size;
    - general condition;
    - price.

    I'm not in SE QLD but depending on a number of things may consider transportation.

    Regards,
    Mike.

    The approx size is about 4-5 feet of usable timber (above the ground, most posts are 6feet 6inches- 2feet6 below the ground)
    the condition is all solid wood have been exposed to the elements for about 40 years so you can decide on the condition.
    most are split posts with some yard posts as well. Approx number of 50. damien.

    I would be interested, but need to know the price.
    My parents live at Mt Mee (so did I at one stage and at Woodford)
    So I'm over there every so often.

    Heh Bruce, Do you have any access to Myall from Miles? I visited a friend out there some time ago and loved the Miles Pub and brought home some Myall. Maybe we can arrange a trade?
    Also do you know the Frenches at condamine by chance?

    I can't see a problem with that (Myall's a weed out here!!!), well I should say very common.
    Send me a private message with some details and I'll get back to you.
    I don't know the Frenches at Condamine, but I have heard of them.

    regards
    Bruce
