Fittings for wooden shutters
My daughter has asked me to 'make' and install a set of plantation shutters in her house. As you would expect I have access to ready made blades of Paulownia and suitably dressed and straightened timber for the framing but I haven't sourced the fittings. A search on the forum showed some ideas quite a few years ago but only a supplier of manufactured fittings in Townsville.
Has anyone made their own plantation shutters and if so where did you get your fittings. Brisbane would be ideal with the southern Gold Coast the best.
