Found in a pile of firewood
Trying to ID this timber, it was found in a pile of firewood with no idea of where it came other than from the Perth area

A fresh cut end may assist with ID. It appears to have a pronounced medullary ray feature, but difficult to say with any certainty what it might be.
Apparent density? Hardness? Smell? Feel (i.e. greasy, dry, waxy)? Will see what your turning produces.Mobyturns
