    Default Free timber. Brisbane

After my excessive babble in Timber Appreciation Movement thread I would like to walk the talk a little bit.
Here are some slab off-cuts that were destined for the bin. Are yours free of charge, pick up Bulimba, Brisbane or can possibly drop them off, if in the area.
They are all Forest Red Gum. Have been dry for a long time. Quite flat. Can SlabMaster them, however that would cost. A lot of rot and split, but nothing that a bit of BoteCote or some other epoxy can't fix. Because of the rot, however, timber would have a lot of color in it along with tonns of bug holes. If you want character, it doesn't get better than that!!!.
I'll measure em up and post sizes tomorrow. By memory the first two pieces are around 1200-1300 long

There is also some big end section available as well, I 'll post in the next day or two. I would take offers for those I think. Big lumps of wood. So keep your eyes peeled.
