Earlier this afternoon - Knock Knock Knock on my front door. I open it to find Baldone out the front with some pieces of the pine. What a great surprise and very much appreciated!

Mark, I picked up a load just before you left on Saturday. I couldn't get it all on as it was too heavy for the ute and I was going to come back on Monday for the rest.

I have heaps and will collect the rest if needed. However if someone else wants it, please feel free to pass it on. Just let me know if you have, so I don't pop back to collect nothing.

    Thanks again.

    Les

    Default Wonderful idea Justin :-)

Justin that is a wonderful idea making some furniture for flood survivors, good for you. I don't have that kind of expertise but I will be making some stand up jigsaw puzzles for the little kids in the Locker Valley. I also intend making some as lucky dips for my local woodclub where the money raised then goes to local charities.

    just got back from rocklea.
    thanks again to mark.
all the best for the future mate.

    hi marg.
now that i have the timber, i have a good idea what i want to do with it.
first i will make a small coffee table and then i am going to make a cradle as the lady i worked for will be having a child soon.
i will also try and make them a rocking horse from the plans i purchased last year and have never gotten round to using.

i have no work at the minute, so these little projects will keep me making sawdust for a week or two!

    regards, justin.

I am glad you move it all in the end, I was worried there weren't enough people turning up.

If I didn't seem as grateful as I could be as I left it was because I was pretty stressed about the load and getting it home. I'm pretty sure I overstressed my towbar. I should have got you to nudge it back closer to center.

Thank you very much for your trouble. I'm already thinking about things I can do with a brazilian pieces of 240X19X1200 pine....

    Hi Damian,
Next time we'll know to put it in the middle..(Not that there will be another time for this little black duck.)
Im glad all the timber went to a good home.I managed to sell 4 m3 (2/3 s) of the silky oak I had so I had only 5 packs of timber to bring home.Sale goes through tomorrow for the shed and I think, weather permitting,I might take the day off and go fishing on wednesday.Charlville very kindly gave me some marks were to go catch some fish at mud Island.
    all the best
    Mark
