More of a gardening question of identification
Another what tree is that?
I've looked through my local trees guide but can't see any thing that matches this garden tree. It appears to be self seeded and growing strongly immediatley next to the sewer inspection point.
Can somebody tell what it is from these pics?
Thanks, Franklin

Looks like a Proteacea (maybe a Grevillea, Stenocarpus or similar). All have nice wood with rays

Look like the White Oak in the front yard that is out in flower at present. (White Oak (Grevillea baileyana) - Technigro)
