hairy oak
just thought I would put up a post of some hairy oak that a fellow member sent me to make some handles for knives from. recieved a small log with an awkward split through it but still managed to cut some nice sized plinths out of it and this is the result. mostly quarter sawn, or as well as could be from a small log and still get useable sizes. Thanks Rich, love the nice peppery casuarina smell when it is milled.

Travis, it'd be easier if you upload the images directly to your post rather than your Album. If you keep using your Album, it will eventually get full as it can only have a set amount stored in it.
Here a good how to on uploading directly to your post
Posting Pictures to Your Post
