Thread: hairy oak

Ok i am sorry if this is the wrong place to put this but i was wondering if someone knew anyone up in toowoomba in queensland who might want a peice of hairy oak/or flame she oak which i think is the other name,i recently went out to my parents place out west and brought a few cuts back,and was hoping to give it to someone.

Any help would be appreciated as i really like the timber and i am sure there must a a wood crafter or such that would get some joy out of it,the peice is about 60 cm long and about 10-15 cm wide or there abouts.

as with most hairy oak it has defects around the outside and i really dont know what its like inside.
