    Hi guys

Picked up approx 60lm of used decking today.

It has some kind of protection on it so I'm not sure of the species. 2nd picture is of a piece I ran through the thicknesser.

It's 89mmx19mm and looks a reddish colour. Pretty sure it's not merbau as can't see any gold flecks.

    Any ideas?

a local eucalypt (or Brush Box) I'd say with so little to go by .. one of the more weather resistant ones used for decking. Maybe ask a local decking supplier.
