    Question Help with Pine ID please

    Hi All
    I'm new here and wondered if someone could help identify what type of pine this table is made from? I bought it from eBay (seller claimed Baltic) and it was coated with thick orange varnish which I am first stripping and then sanding off.
    Also - any advice on what best to seal/finish it with gratefully received. I want the end result to be as pale as possible.

    its Radiata pine and the colour stain used would have been baltic pine,
    Pale do you mean lime washed?? or a satin or flat finish
