Hi tree identification please ,
This fell down at my mothers place a few small logs available if I want them ?
But I have no idea what it is .Is it good for turning cabinet making ?

Its obviously a Eucalypt and yes it may be good to turn but I think that it will shrink and crack badly before it will be dry enough to be stable. I had a large limb come down from one of our "Forest Red Gums". I thought about turning it too. The next morning after I had cut the leafy bits off and took them away......the piaces that I had put aside had huge cracks right through them rendering them useless. These pieces would have been about 160mm diameter. I put it down to very immature wood.
Just do it!

My first thought was Brush Box but I would like a better look at the leaf arrangement to be certain.

Artme, I'm a bit uncertain about the leaves too and the bark looks more like Cadaghi (Corymbia torelliana)... but the nuts do look more like Brushbox.
...I'll just make the other bits smaller.
