Default where can i find some holly

I am looking for some "show white" holly in Australia. I understand that it needs to be vacuum dryed as soon as it is cut to retain the whiteness, or something. I only want some small bits so nothing majior.

Also are there any other really white timbers around possibly aus natives. (im talking really white not yellowy.)

    thanks

Jacaranda is white. The native Silver Ash is fairly white too.

The Woodsmith had some last time I looked. That was a while ago, though...

    Most powertools have sharp teeth.
    People are made of meat.

I can help you if you dont mind paying for shipping from the U.S. and waiting 4-6 weeks for it. Costs about $6 U.S. per pound to ship to anywhere is Aus. If you are interested, let me know and I can shoot some pictures of some I have.

Koto is very white. Also called African Ash. Is readily available in Brissie so you should be able to get it in Melbourne.
