    Exclamation Hydrowood Timber

    For anyone interested in some unique salvaged timber, check out hydrowood.com.au
    They are salvaging eucalypt, blackwood, myrtle, celery top, sassafras, leatherwood and possibly huon pine from Lake Pieman on the west coast of Tassie, flooded nearly 30 years ago. There will be on-line tenders for logs with milling and drying services available. Alternatively there will be the option of buying sawn timber.

    The first batch of logs for tender has been released. 27 unsawn logs 11 slabbed. Unfortunately many of the slabbed logs do not have pictures of the individual pieces. See here for details.
    I am really interested to see what sort of premium they achieve for these logs.
