Identifying timber
I also have a problem identifying timber.I have access to some hardwood(i think)They are lengths of 3x2 roughly sawn, and have a red characteristic in colour. This is the question.......Is it jarrah, redwood or what? What is the difference between these timbers,or are they the same? What can they be used for,and what dollar value have they?Unfortunately i do not have a camera for pics, and your advice would be appreciated.Regards......AL

Sorry Al............. no-where near enough info, on this desription we could maybe narrow it down to the nearest 3-400 locals alone. Really do need a pic and description of weight, grain, locale, smell, taste etc.
