Indian Bean USA
A visit to Albury's Botanical gardens where we saw this Indian Bean tree recently cut down. Spoke to one of the staff and he said it had been so bad they had to mulch all but what remains. This is being sold off for use I hope who ever buys it makes something worth what was wasted.

Indian Bean Tree
Catalpa bignonioides or Indian Bean Tree is a species of Catalpa, native to southeastern United States. Often can be found as an urban decorative tree, because of its resistance to negative ecological influences. Wood of Catalpa b. is one of the most durable woods around, often used in construction for its strengths, also found in furniture. Importance of Indian Bean Trees is also shown in medicine.
