log slab posts for retaining wall WET
Hi guys,
Recently started to prep for a retaining wall and left the posts in the holes over night and it literally pi**ed down with rain and now they are soaked, Are they now useless is there a way to cure them they are 125m H4 log slabs CCA treated 3m please not i have cut them in half to make 1.5m
this is the ones i purchased r
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Wouldn't have thought rain would hurt them. They are probably going to be rained on all the time aren't they? That is what treated pine is for after all! Carry on reguardless I reckon!

I wouldn't be surprised if CCA treated pine is delivered at pretty close to its saturation point - it's not like it gets stored or transported under cover.....

i meant to add the fresh cut end don't you have to seal it if you cut it?

Fresh cut ends ought to be sealed! Should have been done before you even put the posts in the hole!

To provide full protection against long term in-ground contact (and all the damp and bacterial/fungus/insects that that means), yes. For rain exposure, no.
