Thread: Looking for elm slabs.

Hi all... Just wondering if anyone out there has any Elm slabs or may know of somewhere I may be able to track some down. I am looking for timber at least 40mm thick x 600 mm (min) parallel useable widths over 2900 mm long (for a table finish size of 2800 mm). It must be dry and ready to be used if possible. The table width will be 1050 mm wide and I ideally would like to use two book matched or successive slabs cut from the same tree to make the width. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
