I think answering a few questions will assist in providing you with a useful answer.
- Is the log in your backyard and you're looking to sell it to pay for tree removal costs?
- Are you looking to purchase a log?
- How large is the log (diameter and length)?
I think that will help people in providing a log price.

Royalty for Grandis is between $100 and $150 per m3.

I take it you wish to purchase logs rather than sell logs? Thats a whole different matter and comes with a lot of questions that need to be answered before a quote can be submitted.

Yes essentially i want to purchase the logs from a supplier based in australia and export the logs to Mundra port.
I was trying to get a better understanding of what the landing costs would look like to mundra port. Like i said above i want to purchase over 1000 cubic metres of logs. ACQ treatment is fine and i dont mind purchasing rural logs in comparison to premium logs. If anyone can give me a better understanding on what to expect for the costs it would be greatly appreciated!

My question is where are you going to source thousands of young Grandis trees?
Plantation thinnings maybe?
Perhaps Forestry or private holdings.
You'll need about 3000 lengths of 5.1m x 30cm to satisfy your required 1000 cube.
That's a lot of log!
Royalty wise...that's a matter for the seller
I'll reserve my opinion!
