Default Looking for offcuts/timber South Melbourne

Hey everyone, I’ve just started out and I’m not sure where I can get some hardwood to make some chopping boards. I’d be happy with just offcuts or something cheap so I can practice.

I’m south of Melbourne so anywhere between Melbourne and Mornington peninsula would be good.
If you could point me in the right direction that would be great! Thanks

    Hi Ben,
    Welcome to great forum,
If you just want hard wood to practice play with,
Bunnings have heaps they call it oak or F17
But to practice on it’s fine it’s easy to get old off and some comes DAR(dressed all round)

    Cheers Matt
