    Default Looking for - Pine 250 mm x 19 x lengths(syd)

    Anyone know a fgood cheap suplier of Pine - got some from Blacktown Mitre 10 and almost fell over when i got the bill they wanted $30 + a meter

    can anyone point me out to a cheaper place for furniture wood? ( western sydney )

    Even Bunnings aren't that game (yet).

    $30 a metre is about what you pay for 250 x 50 DAR KD Hardwood at Northshore Timber. http://www.nst.net.au/ They deliver too.

    You could also try looking up Timber - Trade & Retail on Telstra's Internet Yellow Pages - there are a few real timber yards west of Parramatta.

    Just priced DAR pine at Bunnings Nth Parramatta for a project. 290 x19 - $10.55/M, 190 x 19 - $5.13/M, 120 x 19 - $3.41, 140 x 19 - $3.85/M, 90 x 19 - $2.22/M, 70 x 19 - 2.05/M, and 42 x 19 - $1.07/M.

    I have just bought 36m of radiata pine from Australian Timber & Hardward on saturday. They are 190 * 19 and $4 per m. the 290 width is $9 per m but they have got many knotts in them, so I settled for the 190 ones. The sales person said they are standard grade ones and it would be about $7-$9 per m for the 190 width for a higher grade.
