    Default Buloke/bulloak burl?

Hey everyone, i saw a rather nice set of knife scales described as buloke burl on someone's facebook page the other night and was just wondering whether anyone on here might have some pieces they'd be willing to part with?

Here's a shot of the scales in question.

Don't know about Buloke, but Dusteater has some pretty spiffy burled WA Sheoak that has similar grain.

Brendan Stempe might be your best bet for some buloke burl and you are spot on the money, it is absolutely magnificent. Can have some small cracks but that is typical of some burls. Contact Brendan, you will not regret it.

Basically just bits of material used to makes knife handles.
I'm not sure if its an american term, since i've mostly come across it on american forums, but i believe its used for all kinds of materials, from resins through to woods, ivories and horn.
