Looking for Timber Supplier in Ballarat
Hi All, I have recently moved to Ballarat, Victoria from Melbourne and am now looking for somewhere I can buy timber. The timber can be small pieces as I will probably just use it to make small boxes or do carvings. Does anyone know of anywhere near by? I don't really care about the species of timber, pretty much anything but pine as I can get that easily at the local hardware store. Thanks.

Hi Spoonman,
It sounds like you missed the Ballarat Wood Show Last Sat. Sun.
You could have bought all the wood you needed.
Other than that, the B'rat Woodies meet in a Nissan Hut at the Airport, & I think they meet 1st. & 3rd. Mon. in the Month, & there would be Timber there.
