Mahogany floor filling knots with resin
I'm hoping someone can help me here. I have tried several 'flooring' guys to no avail.
We have laid our first timber floor. And are ecstatic with the result. We chose feature grade timber because we loooove the charachter the knots and splits and dings have.
Everyone wants to fill them up! I want to preserve the look and wondered if a resin like Glascote would be ok to use with the normal waterbased polyeurethane you put on the rest of the floor.
We have resigned ourselves to the fact that we are going to have to have a go at sanding and finishing the floor. And we don't want to stuff it up.

G'day mate,
Look you actually might get more specific answers on our "sister" forum Renovate Forums especially in the FLOORING Forum.
