Default Major road project - opportunity for large miller

I am currently involved with a major road project in South-East Queensland. We have to clear a lot of large trees (>25 years old) starting around the end of May consisting of Blackbutt, Red Gum, Swamp Mahogany, Brushbox, Scribbly Gum, Ironbark & Paperbark.

We are currently planning to chip it for mulch    . Rather than wasting it, is there any major millers out there interested in the trunks? Sorry, no time for small outfits, I’ll be lucky to get some off-cuts.

    PM me with contact details.

    Neil

mmm sounds like fun mate, if ya get any spare chunks of swamp mahogany or scribbly gum, dont be afraid to give us a hoy...

Stan at Mullumbimby woodworks or one of the other smaller millers in the area would probably be more thna happy to take em...i guess..

up here most such council cut stuff ends up at the geham tip, where the tip guys puts aside the better bits like Silky oak or othe ruseful timbers and a few local cutters, small time outfits get a call and pick em up..

so bigger time cutters..dunno mate, give em a call form the yellow pages...

    cheeeeeeers
