Mango
Hi everyone,
I recently saw some furnitures made of Mango and thoughth it looked just great... I basically love it.
I was wondering what are the qualities of Mango for furniture making, what does it compare to in terms of density, movement etc....
And finally I was wondering about where to find some in Sydney or surroundings and what prices to expect for 41, 32 (in 65 width) and 19 thick (100 to 135 wide)?
Is it gonna be a budget breaker?
Most Mango furniture I have seen so far was made overseas and came out fairly cheap so I guess it's fairly cheap in some parts of the world.... it doesn't mean that it would be the same in Sydney though...

Hi Stef, I don't know about mango in Sydney, but Exador up here in Brisbane would be the first person I'd ask about Mango.
cheers
