Melbourne Suppliers of Green Ring Porous Hardwoods Logs
I am on the lookout for green / wet oak (Quercus), ash (Fraxinus), elm (Ulmus) & chestnut (Castanea) logs. I have been sourcing from Premier Timber Sawmill out at Millgrove. However they do not stock much in the species I am after. Is there someone else in and around Melbourne who stocks green logs?

Hi Dan - unfortunately the shipping for logs from you to me would not make it viable. But thanks anyway.
Still looking.

Helmut, give the guys at The Tree Company a call, tell them I said to ring them and they should put some aside for you, as the area they service has most of those species and then I can pick them up as I do jobs for them regularly.
Cheers
